We went to a mystery dinner last night. It wasn't until it started that I realized I'd been to one before. Basically you're given a "menu" of 23 items and five "courses." You must select all items only once and put them on your course lists. Once complete, you turn them in to your server. What you fail to realize is that not only are you ordering food, you're also ordering your silverware. And of course all the items are coded so you don't really know what you're ordereing. So, you're not sure what you're going to get. I fortunately, received my food in almost the correct order and had appropriate silverware to eat it. Others were not so fortunate. At one point, one of the other guests had salad, nuts, ice cream, water and a knife. :) It was good fun.
I'm trying to figure out when I can host one of these parties. It was so much fun!
